Just found this video. Do you know how many years and DOLLARS I've spent looking for this!??! Thanks again Scotty.
Can't tell you how much money you've saved me in just the last year. Wish I'd found you before I made a few of my vehicle purchases. Lol

Hi Scotty, kindly advise if this bonding glue is good for the cracked plastic sockets connecting to radiator hose ( BMW's), would it bond, seal, and hold on to the heat and pressure of coolant?
Aprreciate you answer, thought of it may be another emergency stock to add on for the car!

Could this bee a good option to glue together thermostate housing? Lol can't imagine lol

Scotty, that has to be baking soda with something added to make it black. Whatever that is, is what's making your eyes water. Just get a cheap box of house brand baking soda; a tube of cheap super glue and you'll get that same great result at a lot lower cost. Luthiers have used this technique for decades to repair the "bones" and bridges on guitars because the result is a HARD material that they can reshape with a file and have a repair that will stand up to the stresses of steel guitar strings riding on it for many more years.

Can this work for a door handle??

Scotty- can you help please- I have Volkswagen Jetta 2007 BKD. The oil filter cap has a plastic 6point hex bolt - its stripped bare and I've no idea how to get it off- it's on tight. I have a replacement cap so don't care if the cap gets mangled. Access is pretty limited too.

Really good idea, love your tips.

Great video Scotty as always.

How can I fix the broken plastic inside where headlight suppose to snap into? Basically the headlight had to be taped with clear shipping tape until I can fix it? 💁

If u dont have q bond you can use super glue with baking soda as the powder. good vid

It is not strong as steel. I used this on a dishwasher panel. Had to glue the connecting tabs back so it would hold in the slots. Lasted for about 2 weeks. Does not work under a working load, opening up the door... a Bosch dishwasher door. Yeah the panel is made out of plastic. Very expensive dishwasher, but cheaply made and the replacement part was very expensive. Wish the q-bond could have worked. I'll let you know if I ever find a glue that is strong as steel. I've never seen any glue that lives up to it's claim. Sorta like fake news and that fake sex I've been having. Thanks Scotty. Go Airborne!

Got into a minor fender bender, the plastic "chrome" around my grill is a bit broken, I'd like something that'll hold it together till I can get it fixed properly, strong enough to run the car through a car wash. Any suggestions? Can't use the Q Bond powder on this part.

what about rubber gas plug that goes on a plastic gas tank on my riding mower?

Somebody please glue dis niggaz mouth motherfucker talk too much

I use PL5000 bonding agent by Lepage no need to mess with powders, it's meant to be used bonding cement brick together and usually comes in a caulking tube, but I used it to fix my rear wiper blade for my Chevy HHR, it snapped the hinge where the wiper pops out for the replacement, very small piece of plastic that is like a hook when you pop the new wiper in, I let it cure for 2 days, it's harder than the plastic around it. That bond will never break, in fact the plastic around it will probably shatter first.

U could use super glue and baking soda it will harden quick

Hey Scotty Mon, what do you think of gluing a broken sleeve on a Heater Core? I like that I can build it up, then sand it down a bit. I got about 270 on my Nissan Truck, so I'll probably never take apart the dash, unless I want one of those new 'experiences'

you can do the same using salt.
and any super glue of good quality.
